Sending Pictures By Email
Emailing Graphics Help
Do you have a folder full of family pictures or other types of graphics on your computer that you’d like to send to your friends, family or co-workers? It’s easy to do!
- Open your email client (such as Outlook Express)
- Compose/create email
- Click the ‘Attach’ icon at the top of your new message toolbar (paperclip icon)
- Locate the graphic you wish to send (for example: Go to My Documents, My Pics, if that’s where you stored your pictures)
- Double click the graphic file you wish to send (usually a jpg or gif)
- Click ‘Attach’
You will now notice in the email that you are composing a new field named Attach:. In that field should be the graphic you just double clicked. If you want to send more than one picture or graphic, click the Attach icon again, find the location of the graphic, double click and select Attach. Repeat as necessary.
Yes you can send more than one attachment at one time!
Also please note that the larger the files you send by email, the longer it takes for the person receiving your email to download and view your email. If you have several large files to send, break them up into individual emails. This will help your viewer save time.
