Turn Off Auto Complete In Internet Explorer
How To Turn Off Auto Complete In Internet Explorer
Well it seemed like a good idea at the time didn’t it? Auto complete. However some have decided this feature is more annoying than helpful or some have decided they’d rather not have their usernames and passwords tracked. Here’s how you can turn off that feature:
Disable Auto Complete
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click Tools
- Select Internet Options
- Select the Content Tab
- Click the Auto Complete button
- The AutoComplete Settings dialog box will appear
- Check off the boxes you no longer wish to have the feature (web addresses, forms, usernames and passwords)
- Click ‘OK’
That’s it!
